Within a rapidly changing higher education (HE) market place, the international office is a key hub of any university, facing an ever more complex set of global challenges.  This programme will offer you key insights, practical tips, best practice case studies and an overview of current trends. It will better equip you to plan ahead and to compete and collaborate with other HE providers.

 

Programme description

  A four day programme that enables you to:

  • Consider the role of the international office within the university of the future, factoring in the latest  trends and changes in HE
  • Hear the latest thinking from speakers whose international offices are recognised for their success
  • Discover the latest tools and techniques used by leading UK universities
  • Find out how inter-university collaboration can better support your office
  • Meet your peers, network and share best practice through workshop sessions
  • Understand the global influences that are affecting  international admissions in HE and how this impacts on your office

 Duration and Location

This is a four-day programme to be held in Oxford, from 12-15 April 2016 consisting of three intensive training days plus a tour of Oxford university colleges and Museums.  

  • Arrive Monday 11 April 2016
  • Tuesday 12 - Thursday 14 April - Core Programme
  • Friday 15 April - Tour of Oxford University and museums
  • Saturday 16 April - depart 

 Pricing

The programme registration fee is £1350. This is inclusive of your airport transfers to/from Oxford, meals, academic and cultural visits and the award of Programme Completion Certificate.

Applications received before 30 November 2015 are eligible for the Early Bird Discounted Fee of £1150.

   

Certification

On completion of the programme, the participants will be awarded a Programme Completion Certificate by the Oxford Academy for Education and Development.
